For decades opportunistic politicians selfishly used hateful rhetoric to stroke racial tension. The term southern strategy pertains to the use of cryptic language designed to heighten the racial sensibilities of white people. The southern strategy has been employed by former presidents who include Richard Nixon, Ronald Regan , George Bush Sr., and Jr. , and most recently Donald Trump. The simple fact is this , the violence resulting from white supremacy extends well beyond black and brown communities ,poor whites were equally decimated. White supremacy is simply a ploy designed to mislead , preoccupy and distract so that spineless politicians wouldn’t have to give an account of campaign promises that they never intended to fulfill . The bottom line is ,white supremacy is a trick wealthy white men play on poor people from all walks of life.
