Trumps Justice department delays release of John Bolton’s memoir “ The room where it happened.” In the book Bolton makes a number of bold claims . In one instance Bolton stated Trump made an explicit request that president Xi of China assist in his 2020 presidential re-election bid. Trump , to avoid further embarrassing disclosures apparently directed Consigliere William Barr intercede on his behalf. U.S. Department of Justice filed an injunction requesting that the publisher be prohibited from distribution, claiming the book contains classified national security information. The case is currently pending. however, despite Trump’s displeasure the book is expected to be released this fall.
