Public spaces should reflect the diverse make up of  society. The idea that space left to it’s own devices will evolve and assume a particular personality organically is a misnomer.   In fact space must be intentionally designed with a particular purpose in mind. The architect  of public spaces must be collaborative from the  onset, thereby ultimately resulting in an eclectic design.
