Hebru Brantley grew up on the south side of Chicago. He began taking art seriously at the age of 16 when he started creating magnetically intriguing visuals. In November 2021, Hebru Brantley a world-renowned visual artist unveiled an oversized rendition of his signature Flyboy character in Battery Park, New York City.

Here are Brantley’s 3 Tips on How To Be Successful and Survive as an Artist : 

  1.  Take your product directly to the people. Stand clear of self-appointed gatekeepers. Let the people decide whether you have a quality product or not.
  2. Make yourself accessible by attending festivals and concerts. Engage and interact with your supporters.
  3. Use social media to create a visual storyline. Provide your fans with access to the process. Show and invite Others to be a part of your journey.
