Ex-Supreme Court Justice On His Decision to Retire
Former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer says that he retired because he has served long enough on the bench and that it was appropriate for others to get a chance to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. Breyer also said his age also played a factor. And that at the age of 84, he wanted to ensure a democratic president would appoint his successor.
