Average New York City Rent is ”Too Damn High”

New York rents have rocketed sky high during the post-pandemic era. The average monthly rent for one-bedroom apartments in Manhattan is reportedly $5,000 a -month. The rise in rent is purportedly due to the developers having to pay double construction rates and an increase in demand. The Boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens rent average at around $3,000 a month for a one-bedroom apartment.
